The sun enters the zodiac sign of Cancer on Tuesday June 21st at 5:13am edt. and in the northern hemisphere it also marks this arrival of Summer.
On the Sacred Wheel this is the longest day of the year and also known as Midsummer and Litha.
We celebrate the full power of the sun and welcome its energy into our lives to help us to be strong and energetic for the work that's to be done in the summer, in order to reap the bounty and beauty of the harvest in the autumn.
As the sacred wheel of the year turns once more...and we step across the threshold, through the Solstice Portal....
